Christine Lehnen is the author of twelve books, several essays, award-winning short fiction, one TV script and two poems. After a successful career of writing and publishing genre fiction under a variety of pseudonyms in her twenties, she is currently working on her literary debut. She lives in London.

cl headlined Storytime London on 20th April 2026. She has been haunting the open mics of Spit Night, Everything Poetry and Storytime throughout the spring and summer and is proud to feature in a substack by Elif Batuman.
Christine has been made a Fellow of the UK Young Academy. She is currently launching Germany’s first anglophone Creative Writing programme at the University of Hamburg.
